The great great Johnny Unites was taken out of this football game and replaced by Earl Morral! No big deal was made about the AP player of the decade being replaced despite the fact that he was not injured. This also tells me that this Baltimore team, who would eventually win Superbowl V probably was the 4th best team in the NFL in 1970, the top 3 teams being Oakland, Kansas City, and Dallas who really had Superbowl V won. This 1970 Baltimore team along with the Joe Nameth jets are the luckiest and the weakest teams to ever win the Superbowl!

It's a joke that they are calling an ABA game, "NBA's Greatest games". They didn't want to acknowledge the ABA in the early/mid 70s. I guess the NBA bought up what was left of ABA televised games. Greedy bastards.

Old time football... when it was much more enjoyable to watch. I didn't see many games this far back... I was only 2 when this was played.. but by the end of the decade I was enjoying the game... seeing the toe-kicking and posts on the goal lines.. precious

I looked up this video after hearing about the passing of Willie Mays, RIP. I was at this game, 11 years old. What a thrill to see these NL greats back before interleague play: Aaron, Clemente, Bench, Mays, plus all the local heroes: Kaline, Cash, Freehan, Lolich. I didn't count, but I read somewhere there were 21 HOFers in this game.

Courtnall was key for Canucks in this and the game after that. Canucks were 6-1 that playoff year when he scored at least once. And Dumpy VonOrange at 2:42. Ew.

I was 17 and I wish I had stayed and watched the game with my dad ☹️ He was so good. Did everything around the house and cars. He ended up building two houses for us down south and they’re beautiful and still standing tall. One was an auction for 100x100 property for $40 !!! My dad grabbed that one and built a house, with help from an electrician friend. My daughter bought it after my dad passed. So she has my parents house and I have my mother’s house. Life is sad but good 💗💔
